Q- What is The BOLD Box?
A- The BOLD Box is a new offering based on the BOLD girls’ empowerment program. Each month has a theme meant to encourage and motivate girls, with fun activities and an educational aspect. The goal of BOLD is to help girls (and their families) explore challenging topics while providing the tools and community aspect they need to be successful. The box is best suited for girls ages 7 to 11.
Q- What will I get in each box?
A- Each month includes access to a BOLD video lesson that introduces the concept. Each box includes a book- a biography of a woman from history who embodies the monthly theme. The box also contains a craft or activity related to the theme and a selection of other goodies (think journals, treats, jewelry, and more). Finally, the box features a set of printed material with family discussion questions, suggested media links, activity instructions, and other cool stuff.
Q- Can I send a gift subscription?
A- Absolutely! The BOLD Box makes a great gift. For the holidays, we have a printable certificate that you can use for under the tree to let your girl know she will receive her first box in January. Get the certificate here!
Q- How will I be billed?
A- For month-to-month subscriptions, your credit card will be charged monthly on the same date for the following month’s box (for example, if you sign up on the 10th of the month, you will be billed on the 10th of every month). For 3- and 6-month prepay subscriptions, your card is charged for those months initially. Your subscription will be renewed (on the same date that you subscribed) in the final month unless you cancel prior to that date.
Q- How much does shipping cost?
A- Shipping is a flat fee of $8 per box. We ship anywhere within the United States.
Q- When will my monthly box arrive?
A- The boxes are shipped on or around the 5th of each month (the date may move slightly based on weekends and holidays) via USPS Priority Mail. You can expect to see it at your door in a few days, depending on your location- we ship from Charlotte, North Carolina.
Q- How can I cancel my membership?
A- You may cancel your membership by logging in to your member dashboard and clicking on the Orders History link. Click on your subscription order and then the cancellation button. You may also email us at email@example.com to request cancellation.
You must cancel at least two days prior to your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next subscription payment. If you have already been charged for the next month’s box, you must contact us prior to the 30th to avoid shipment of the box and obtain a refund. There are no refunds for any boxes that have already shipped.
